Camp Inn Bags Material and Seam Construction?

Postby Guest » Fri Jul 07, 2006 8:09 pm

Fantastic article, I learned a lot reading it. However, it wasn't clear to me whether the Camp Inn Nylon Dry Bags have welded seams or not, and how the material compares in weight and abrasion resistance to the Sealine Storm Sack.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Camp Inn dry bags

The Camp Inn basic nylon dry bags have welded seams.

The material, in my opinion, is plenty strong enough for most backpacking uses, but is lighter than probably any of the Sealine bags (at least those I've inspected). Sealine makes some nice bags for paddling, but all that I'm aware of are too heavy for BP'ing.

Hope this helps...
