Hi!

I like to prepare trail meals that require simmering, something difficult to do with most backcountry stoves. I did this first with my gigapower, take the titanium pot lid and set it over the flame and then the pot on top of that. Very simple. If you like/need, make a new lid out of foil. That particular lid has a lip and when facing up, the pot nestles right into place. Use the pliers on your multi tool to handle the lid. WARNING! dont try foil or even aluminum plate with high output stoves. A spot of food or grease will make a flame hot enough to melt lesser metals. Aluminum is fine for low output stoves like alcohol types but try your setup at home first to make sure. Titanium plate is available easily and I could see making a custom,,,,

Heat diffuser

Great suggestion Debbi... similar to a commercial heat diffuser product that I've used for many years.
It's called the Scorch Buster, and it weighs 2.8 ounces.
