Skewer

Postby TracyWV » Wed May 11, 2005 6:47 pm

I love toasted bagels while camping so I thought your spoon extender/ bagel toaster a fun idea. However, I didn't have a hacksaw handy to cut the ring off my skewer so I took wirecutters and cut a coat hanger instead. Worked perfect.

Took only a few minutes to hunt and gather the supplies and tools. And even less time to make it. Thanks for the nifty little tool.

Bagel toaster

That's great. You might want to re-read the warnings about using coat hangers, however. The substances that are used to paint/coat the hangers could be toxic if you don't remove all traces.

Thanks! You're right. I have a skewer that I can cut the end off of as you suggest. Thanks for that reminder.
